Treasury Shorts Workshops

Tue 11 May 2021 09:30 - 09:50 Microsoft Teams

Arlingclose is pleased to invite you to our Treasury Short Workshops which are for Arlingclose clients only. These online sessions are a remotely held replacement for our usual Principles of Treasury Management workshops. These events are deliberately broken up into shorter events covering specific topics of Treasury Management.  The workshops will be spread over several twenty-minute weekly sessions held every Tuesday at 9 30 am.

They are suitable for officers who are new to treasury management or who do not perform treasury management as part of their main role but who may provide occasional coverage. Their purpose is to familiarise practitioners with key issues that underlie local government treasury decisions, principles and best practice. The dates of the upcoming sessions are below:

  • Tuesday 11th May 2021 at 9:30am: Treasury Management documentation
  • Tuesday 18th May 2021 at 9:30am: Treasury Management Risks - TMP 1 (overview)
  • Tuesday 25th May at 9 30am: What is Credit risk and Bail-in risk?
  • Tuesday 1st June at 9 30 am: Credit Ratings and Credit Default Swaps
  • Date TBC: Liquidity Risk Management, Cash Flow and its Forecasting

The workshops will be presented as a webcast lasting no more than twenty minutes, but we will remain online afterwards to answer all your questions. The webcast will also be recorded and available to view at your leisure on the Arlingclose website.
